BUT THE REALITY IS, AS MUCH AS WE LOVE DOING HAIR, AT THE END OF THE DAY THIS IS OUR LIVELIHOOD. IF WE LOSE AN OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE A CLIENT IN OUR CHAIR - OUR STYLISTS LOSE INCOME. HAVING THESE POLICIES IN PLACE PROTECT OUR TEAM & HELP SALON K MAINTAIN A LOW TURNOVER, WITH HIGH QUALITY STAFF THAT FEELS VALUED AND RESPECTED.
WE REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR UNDERSTANDING & ASK THAT YOU READ ALL OF OUR POLICIES PRIOR TO BOOKING SO WE CAN BE FULLY TRANSPARENT AND AVOID ANY UNEXPECTED FEES THAT COME AS A RESULT OF A LATE CANCELLATION OR NO SHOW.

cancellation policy
We require at least 48 hours notice when cancelling or rescheduling. This allows your stylist ample time to try and accommodate another guest in their schedule. If 48 hours notice is not given for a cancellation, the reserved credit card will be charged 100% of the service that was scheduled. No show's or not calling to reschedule will be charged 100% of the service.
Please be aware that if you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we may not be able to provide the service for which you have been scheduled for and a cancellation fee will apply.
In an effort to help you avoid cancellation or no show charges, Salon K will send you one text appointment reminder, however, please do not rely solely on our software to provide these reminders. It remains your responsibility to remember your appointment. If you do not receive our emails or texts, please ensure we have correct cell phone details.
ON THE DAY OF YOUR APPOINTMENT
Please arrive on time to ensure you receive your full service. Please give a courtesy call if you are anticipating running late. If you are late this may result in modifying the services we are able to offer and you will still be charged for the services scheduled. If you are excessively late, please keep in mind we may have to reschedule your appointment and you will be charged for the full service. We allow 15 minutes late for color appointments and 10 minutes for haircut appointments.
Extra guests are not permitted into the salon with you and will be asked to wait outside, this includes children.
We regret that we cannot be responsible for loss or damage of personal articles. Please keep all valuables with you during your service.
CHILDREN
For the comfort and safety of our guests, children are only permitted in the salon while receiving a service. For safety and insurance purposes, no child may accompany you while you receive your service. We cannot assure their safety in a professional environment. We also do not want to compromise the relaxation of our guests. Your understanding is greatly appreciated! If you bring your child you will be asked to reschedule and full price of service will be due.
Method of payment
We accept Visa, MasterCard and Amex, cash or debit cards. No personal checks.
refund policy
Salon K does not issue refunds on any service or product. If there is an issue with your color or cut, the stylist that performed the original service will fix it at no additional charge. Adjustments to any service will qualify only if there is an inconsistency in quality (blotchy, bleeds, missed grey coverage, etc.). Any discrepancies must be reported to Salon K within 72 hours of the initial appointment and the fix must be completed within 7 days of the original appointment. If the client wants additional work done that was not discussed in the original consultation this would require an additional appointment and may come with additional fees. All retail purchases are nonrefundable.
